Minimum
Nights
Meadow
Creek Mountain Rustic Resort requires a 2 night minimum stay
during most times of the year. A 3 night minimum stay is
required for Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, New Years, Thanksgiving,
and Christmas.
Terms
of Payment
All deposits to Meadow Creek Mountain Rustic Resort
must be made by a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover). To
reserve your cabin, you will need to pay 50% of the reservation
total. At the time of check-in, we will accept cash, checks,
or any major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover).
Pet
Policy
Pets are allowed in our cabins.
- Dogs only.
- Guest must clean up after the pet when walking the dog(s) on the cabin or resort grounds.
- We charge a $25.00 non-refundable pet fee.
- Guest assumes all responsibility for any damage caused by pets brought to the cabin.
There
are no cleaning fees for our cabins assuming normal wear and
tear. If extra cleaning is required or if the guidelines
in the Check Out section are not followed, an additional $25
will be charged to the card used to make the initial deposit.
Check
In & Check Out
Check in is at 4 PM at the General Store. If you
will be arriving after 5 PM or if the General Store is not open,
you can pick up your check in welcome package in the Cabin Check
In box located at the front porch of the General Store. Check
out time is 11 AM. You will be expected to put trash in
the receptacle located outside, place dishes in the dishwasher
and start it, wash dishes if there is no dishwasher, place towels
in the washing machine and start it, secure the cabin with all
doors and windows locked and turn the lights out. Leave
the key in the cabin and, when leaving, set the heat to 60°
or the air conditioner to 80°.
Accommodations
The number of occupants is restricted to the number
listed on the reservations for all cabins. There must be at least
one adult age 21 or older in residence and on the premises at
all times if children are present.
Cancellations
and Rental Changes
To cancel or change a reservation, you must call 14
days prior to your arrival date to make your cancellation or
change your reservation dates. In the event of a cancellation,
half of the deposit will be returned. If a cancellation
is received less than 14 days prior to your arrival date, no
portion of the deposit will be refunded. If you want to
change your reservation dates, you can reschedule up to one
year out. Your deposit will be applied to your new reservation
dates, but a new rate may be in effect.
Housekeeping
& Amenities
Daily maid service is not provided. Guests are expected
to launder towels, etc. as needed during their stay. All cabins
have a supply of linens and towels. All kitchens are fully
equipped along with a supply of soap, dishwashing detergent,
toilet paper, trash bags and paper towels. Each cabin has
its own phone number. You can receive incoming calls excluding
collect calls. You can make local calls, but you cannot
make outgoing long-distance calls except collect or on a credit
card.
Place
garbage into the garbage can provided outside. It will
be picked up every other day. If there is an excessive
amount, bring it to the General Store. Do not put any overflow
outside as animals are likely to discover it.
Some
of the homes are equipped with a wood-burning fireplace. Others
have gas fireplaces. A starter supply of wood is furnished
during the months of October through April. If you require
more wood during your stay, it is available to purchase.
Hot
Tubs
Please remember there are certain health risks that
are associated with using a hot tub. Our housekeepers clean,
sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in all tubs prior to
your arrival; therefore, it may not be warm until later that
evening. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and
are not designed to support a person or persons. Do not
stand on the hot tub covers as they will break and you will
be charged for replacement. Remember when not using the
hot tub, leave the cover on so the hot tub will stay warm and
debris will stay out.
Pools
Select cabins at Meadow Creek Mountain Rustic Resort
have private pools. These pools are to be used only by
the guests of that cabin. Any guest using the pool assumes
all risk associated. There must be at least one adult age
21 or older present when children are using the pool.
Refunds
We will do everything we can to make sure your cabin
is ready for you. Any damages or problems not reported
by the tenant upon arrival will be charged to the tenant. No
refunds will be issued for early departure, malfunctions in
the equipment (i.e. hot tubs, Jacuzzi, televisions, stereos
or VCR) or weather conditions.
Renters
will be held responsible for any damaged or missing items or
damage to the premises during their stay. We cannot be
responsible for any items lost or stolen during your stay. We
do everything possible to keep all equipment in good working
order. If something is not working properly, we will do
our best to get it up and running for your stay.
Road
Conditions
Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Even though
gravel drives are well maintained, we highly recommend four
wheel drive and/or chains during the snow months for some of
our cabins. We do not refund due to road conditions.
All
of the cabins at Meadow Creek Mountain Rustic Resort are privately
owned. Neither the homeowner nor Meadow Creek Mountain
Rustic Resort is responsible for any accidents, injuries or
illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities
nor are Meadow Creek Mountain Rustic Resort or the homeowner
responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables
of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed
that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm
arising from their use of the premises or that of others whom
they invite to use the premises.
