We have a  22-stall barn with wash area & turnouts. Boarding available - enjoy the amenities of boarding your horse at Meadow Creek Mountain Resort:trailhead to National Forest State Park Trails.

RIDING STABLES
Ride with us on a guided trail ride or bring your own horses to travel on our beautiful mountain trails through the trees, up hills and down to valleys. One hour guided rides travel through the large number of trails on our resort property while longer trail rides traverse both resort trails as well as trails in the Cherokee National Forest. Enjoy the peace and relaxation of riding along our serene mountain trails combined with the fun adventure of horseback riding. All riders welcome, from absolute beginners to experienced equestrians.

GUIDED TRAIL RIDES
Guided rides are available daily (weather permitting), 9 AM to 4PM. All lodging guests get a 10% discount off any guided trail ride. Reservations are required; call the stables to make a reservation at  423-623-7543. Rider age minimum is 8 years old and weight maximum is 225 pounds. 
$25. for 1 hour. $50. for 2 hours. $75.  for 3 hours  with snack. 
Custom 1/2 day & full day rides available.

PRIVATE HORSE TRAIL RIDES
Private horse owners are welcome to ride both resort and Cherokee National Forest trails any time. The charge for riding the designated resort trails for private horse owners is  $10. per trailer up to 2 horses, $5. additional charge per horse. Call the stables with any questions you have  Proof of Coggins Test Required.

 

Stall Boarding: $200.00 per month     Pasture Boarding: $125.00 per month

  • 12' x 12' stall with turnout
  • Electric & water
  • Wash down rack
  • Daily stall maintenance & bedding
  • Daily feeding & water and turnout by experienced horse professional
  • Daily monitoring (contact with owner in case of injury)
  • On site stable manager
  • New horses are supervised during gradual introduction to other horses
  • Use of 100' x 200' outdoor arena
  • Trail head to Cherokee National Forest trails with miles of trails on Meadow Creek Mountain
  • Owner responsible for feed, hay and mineral/salt blocks

 

Special needs may be accommodated at an additional fee.
